Biography
Andy was part of the Luton Town Academy from the age of 10 until he was released when told he'd not be awarded a YTS (now scholar) place at 16. He was, however, then awarded a YTS place at Rushden & Diamonds FC, where he would go on to play 333 times for the Northamptonshire clubs first team, winning the National League and League Two titles during that time.
Andy also played professionally for Oxford United, Mansfield Town and returned to Luton Town toward the end of his professional career. Andy finished playing semi-professionally for Chester, Woking, Stamford and Corby Town.
Andy represented England C 8 times during his career, scoring 2 goals and winning 2 four-nation tournaments.
After retirement from playing, Andy has held a number of positions within different departments of football clubs, including on managerial teams, in category 1 and 3 academies and scouting and recruitment teams.
Andy holds both the UEFA A Coaching Licence and the FA Youth Award, and is currently the assistant manager and head of operations at a National League North club.
